Help Blown Front Shock

Just went to the dealership to get the JEEP looked at. I went to get the vibration problem diagnosed, they found that the right front shock absorber is shot. They are asking $400+ for parts and install just one side.
I kinda suspected it because when I go through rough roads the steering wheel shakes badly. And when I hit a bump the right side seems to impact a lot harder that the left.
If I can install it myself I would.

My question is where can I buy a set of front shocks? How involve is it to install the shocks? Should I replace both sides?

Has anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

It's pretty involved to change the front shocks, as they are coil overs. If you don't have a few jacks, the right tools, and some know how, you might have a fun time trying. Wish I was closer, I just dropped mine and I'm always happy to help. If you have any questions PM me and I'll try to help.

I guess I'll get a shop to install it for me.

Yeah that might be the best thing to do. You also have to get it aligned after you install the shock.
