U1411 & P0157 What Do I Need To Fix These

So the wifes Jeep was throwing a code, so she took it in to get scanned. Showed up p0157, no biggie. After she left the gauges and radio died, along with the turn signals, windshield wipers, headlight controls, airbags, remote unlock, and who know what all else. Took it back to get scanned, U1411. I called the dealership and they told me to start with the PCM. Anyone had this happen? Id like to find something cheaper than the PCM to try first.

po157-bank 2 sensor 2 the farthest back one needs replaced or could be a bad cat

U1411 Implausible Fuel Volume Signal Received- That code is a communication code. You could have a power train control module failing????? Everything you could do at this point is a guess. There is really no diagnostics that can be run unless the condition is present at the time its checked out....at the STEALER.

Has anyone had this and it was something other than the PCM? I don't want to drop the money on one and have it not fix it.

oh boy this is my area of expertise LOL

ask me how?

Anyways first thing you wanna do is get some good di-electric cleaner, unhook all the PCM connections and spray it well and let it sit there and dry

Unhook the big hunk of cable that is right behind the fuse box on under the hood on the drivers side, the one that is exposed, clean that as well and let is sit over night alongside with the disconnected PCM cables

Connect them back again and see if it work

If not then it may really be your PCM, what kind of car you got?

I have an extra PCM laying around OEM will sell for cheap

hope that helps

when my code U1411A came out, I searched, and I noticed aftermarket command starts could be an issue. I reprogrammed my starter, switched my keys, and everything is good now.

sounds dumb. but it worked

If the PCM is junk can I buy a used one, or does it need to be new or refurbished?
