Durango R/T Test Drive

Just test drove the Durango R/T at a dealer near me (only one within 200 miles). All I have to say is WOW! What a truly amazing vehicle. If you are in the market for a third row vehicle, this has got to be the one. It was sitting next to a Citadel and the lowered stance looks fantastic. The Hemi sound is very nice with the tuned exhaust and it (like the GC SRT coming out) has 20X10s on all corners.

The R/T rides like a dream and I am seriously considering it as I need the third row with a third child on the way. The interior is beautiful and honestly, I really don't know why antyone would pay more for a Citadel:confused:

I tried to take a few photos with my cell phone, but it has been acting up all morning :mad:

One correction, the 20" wheels on the Durango are 20"x9", not 20"x10". It's interesting that the WK2 uses a 20"x8" wheel since they both use the same 265/50x20 tires.... I wish the WK2 wheels were 9", that would open up more tire options.

Durango = WK2 for a family.
Grand Cherokee = for a man unattached (except for maybe, as myself, to a wife).

If I had a few kids, I'd be all over the Durango...

I looked at the sidewalls on the tires, said 20X10

hmmmm, maybe ill take one out for a spin on saturday...see what its like.

i will say they make some well advertised commercials for the new line up... everytime i see their commercials i start to ponder about how the new GCSRT8 will look like

The tires have no bearing on the width of the wheel, are you saying the WHEEL had 20x10 imprinted on it?

Maybe you are correct. The build your own site lists them as having 20X8 painted alluminum wheels (don't appear to be on the parts list you provided). Regardless, they are definately far meatier than the Citadel that was parked directly adjacent to it. Damn! I wish my camera phone worked!

I'm tempted as well. But I have no kids so a 3rd row would be useless.
But daymn that's a spankin looking vehicle.

Please up the pics when you can. If you have one with both the R/T and the citadel side by side, please post that one.

I'll see if I can get it working and stop by later this afternoon. Post pic requests here and I'll see what I can do.
