A Few Questions...

Alright, after I make my Macbook purchase I'm gonna start putting some money back into the WJ. I've made a small list of things I want to do but I'm not sure about the prices.

1) I'm looking at a 2" BB lift. The Jeep is 2WD (I know...) so I'm really just looking at getting a better stance and just a tad bit more height. I really would like to get some shocks with the lift if possible. I know Rough Country has a package but from what I see it is for 4WD only and I've heard some bad things about the shocks. Any recommendations? Plus, where can I get this installed? I've called 2 or 3 places and they want $500!

2) I want to get some crossrails for it. I kayak every-once in a while and having those would be MUCH better then sticking it inside the car. Anywhere, other then Ebay, I can get these? I've found them new but they want like $300, which, IMO, is a bit much.

3) Also, I'd really like some fog lights. I have the Laredo and everyone I've talked to said the wiring should be tucked away in the bumper, which I have yet to find. If the wiring is there all I'd have to get are the fog lights and housings plus the new lighting stock for the steering wheel right?

4) Muffler. I've been thinking about this for a while and I think I want to go with the Flowmaster 70 series. Anyone have that muffler? How's it sound?

That's really all I've come up with. Really what I'm trying to do is put some pricing together etc. Also, just so you know, I have the I6.

Thanks!

kyb shocks (lifetime warranty and inexpensive) , 2 inch leveling kit. Just involves adding spacers to your current springs. Anywhere that can do shocks for you should be able to do this.

if you have the stock roof racks i always just used a ratcheting strap and ran it through the windows to hold down my kayak. Worked fine and saves money.

not quite sure on this one

go with the 40 series. Much more agressive but nice and quiet on the highway. Have one on mine with the cat removed and i love it.

Re: A Few Questions...

if you do find the fog wiring you will also need:

2 fogs
a new Headlight Stalk that has the FOG switch.
a trip to the dealer to activate them.

Take every penny you have to convert it into a 4WD first...then lift and tires!
