Chrome Reps

Just installed my OE Wheels Chrome Reps. I went with Yokohama 275/45's. tires. I wanted an all season tire in case I leave these during the Winter months. Overall quality is pretty good, I did think they took a little more weight to balance them then I would have liked but what can I expect from a wheel made in China.

Anyways here a quick photo before I start the exterior work next week.

Nice! I was debating on polished or chrome from OEwheels myself...ended up with the polished. Chrome looks sweet against white and your other accents though...

Re: Chrome Reps

Thanks. Normally I'm not a huge fan of chrome rims but the other choice would have been the black reps and IMO when you have rim that is entirely black it blends with tire and then you can't see any detail. I could have done a tu-tone scheme (black & white) and in the future, I still might. The OE black reps are so cheap. I may just grab a set of those and give it a different look, but for now I just went with the chrome reps. Next week I plan to take the truck apart and fix all the paint chips, shoot the pillars black and install an SRT front bumper & grille, and blacken the headlamps. After that wheels will be the only chrome left on the truck.

Yeah I can see that pitting could easily happen. Remember all these wheels are made in China....land of quality parts. :)
