RHR - No Best of XM Radio???

Sirius customer support just told the RHR is not compatible. This can't be true can it? Does anyone know if you can add the best of XM to your Sirius subscription?

Sirius customer support has got to be the worst of any company ever. I had the same issue with them. They told me to get best of XM I had to give up my current free year and sign up and start paying for the full subscription. I just hung up on them and did it online. Just go to the link below and "modify" your subscription and set up an account. It will be like $45 or so to add the best of xm to your free trial for the year.
When I did it (the minute I got home from taking delivery) I had to use Chrysler HQ's zip code of 48326. If you just got your car you may have to do the same. After you do it, turn on your radio and you will see "updating channels".

PS: Congrats on the new truck. Best of luck!

Curious, Did you do it via the Web or got them to finally understand you and your requests on the 2nd phone call?

On a similar note, I purchased a lifetime subscription to the "FULL Everything" Programming on XMSirius for my iTouch Sat Base. It clearly states a lifetime can be transferred 2 times.

I called (4 different times) and have been told that XMSirius is different subscriptions that SiriusXM... even though they are 1 Company now.
I have to purchase a NEW Lifetime on SiriusXM if wanted for Jeep.
I can not transfer my existing lifetime. I emailed & called, and pushed my requests up 2 Mgr levels and received same answer.

You would think if one company, there would be a way to transfer your accounts.
Anyone else experience this... or have a way around it??

2nd call. Just pray you get someone that knows what they are doing. Maybe the have better staff working in the mornings. I did have to speak to another department to cancel my old account.

Sirius/XM customer support is a friggin' joke. When they talk of customer service, they mean the livestock related definition of "service."

They offered high resolution online streaming to folks who ponied up for a long term subscription, then tried to welch by dropping it to the low-res stream; I had to file a complaint with my state AG office to get them to give me what I paid for. At merger time they promised a la carte subscriptions- no such thing exists a few years afterwards. They still refuse to integrate billing so you can have XM and Sirius devices on the same family plan, nor will they issue credits for the price difference (if you have one XM and one Sirius vehicle, you pay full rate for each; if they were both XM or Sirius, you could get a discounted rate on the second).

The only reason I'm with them is because there's no competitor that can provide a service anywhere close.

There's a few channels on each system that are "best of." They are unique to the XM or Sirius systems- if you have a Sirius receiver, you cannot receive those XM only channels. If you have a compatible receiver, you can subscribe to them (a compatible Sirius can get the Best of XM and vice versa) and therefore get pretty much everything.

Things like Opie & Anthony, Howard Stern, and Oprah are on these "best of" selections.

If that's the case I have Howard playboy etc. straight from the dealer. I haven't called anyone it came this way. Summit with the RHR, don't know of that makes a difference or not.

Howard Stern is affiliated with Sirius and thats why you are able to get that straight from the dealer if you were to add Best of XM you would get Opie and Anthony (the virus)which by the way is way way way way better than Stern and a couple more channels.
