Will bigger tires mess up traction control?

I am getting 265/70/17 tires for my wk. Will these bigger tires cause my traction control light to come on due to being bigger and less revs? Will it throw off my computer settings? Thanks all!

No problems so far with mine. The only issues I occasionally get is if I take a u-turn a little too quickly it will trip the esp on but other than that its a non issue.

Won't affect the TC or ABS but will throw off your speedo slightly. (about 4% in my case). The stability system will cut in earlier on any lifted jeep, but that has to do with the actual lift, not the tires.

my 255s seem to trigger the ESP every once and awhile, especially taking off ramps from the highway..

Same here....i have 265/70/17's and it seems to kick on around some tighter hwy ramps. The key is to punch it through the turn! :D:thumbsup:
