Skid Plates Coating Product
Hi guys,

I received the skid plates today, they have some scratches, I want paint before install it, I have good experience with 3Mô Professional Grade Rubberized Undercoating, 03584, but my concern is the working temperature in the front skid plate and transfer skid plate areas, and if this coating can get fire,

I appreciate your comments,

I add the link for review

What about the waterbased undercoating stuff?

Look good, but I will need a pistol for application?, that is a issue,

Thank you for your advice,

personally, I wouldn't use any product from a rattle can. I thinking a bed liner that comes in a kit with a textured roller would be the best do it yourself solution. If you have the money and access to a shop that does spray on bed liner, I'd go that route. Just my opinion.

Depends on temps near pipes. Consider that Aftermarket Exhaust is going to be a little closer too. Plus consider that work to remove finish if you change your mind.
I had them silver/black texture Powder Coated, tough finish both sides! Cost was about $50 per skid plate.
