lift time!!

So i just ordered my 3.5" RK lift... while that comes in im in search of some tires, probably going to go with a set of 265/70 R17 BFG ATKO's on my stock rims... will probably need a spacer, or might just go with 245's (since those tires dont come in 255). For now i will be running stock shocks but in the near future i will order the Bilstein shocks to replace my stock ones.

Anybody have that same lift kit with those shocks and similar tire sizes or maybe something pretty close and have any issues? likes... dislikes?

I am not doing any crazy off-roading just going to hit the dirt and snow every now and then.

Thanks guys!

Nice move with the Bilsteins. They will give you a little extra lift when you put them on. Make sure you replace all 4.

I have the same RK + Bilsteins setup, with 245/70/17s. changed out the wheels so I didn't need spacers. No issues, fun to drive.

JP... i was considering the 245 size tire... do you wish you got something a little wider or are you happy with that size? Also, any way you can post a pick of your jeep? thanks bud!

here's a link to the before and after. http://jeepgarage.org/showpost.php?p=391147&postcount=1. I also attached the side views so you can see how much they stick out. note that I have 17" KMD misfits with a 0" offset, 5" backside and 9" total width. If on a slant and turn the wheels just right I can get it to slightly rub the back plastic on the front passenger side because of the rim width, but hardly ever happens and doesn't do anything but move the plastic and make a funny noise.

You can get the tires I have. 255/75/17 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain KM1. All though they are mud terrain tires, they last a long time. A friend of mine has over 70,000 miles on them with mostly street. Look below:
