5.7L Fuel Economy - Canada VS US
So I was browsing the other day and I found this confusing bit of information:

It says that the American WK2 gets 13/19, but the Canadian WK2 gets 15/22 MPG.
Note: The website says 18/27 but the conversion was done wrong, at least according to Google.

Is something done to the Canadian versions that helps improve fuel economy that the government doesn't force Chrysler to do with the American versions? Is that also why we have to pay more for the same Jeep? Or do they just tell us the numbers are better so they can try and sell more?

Since a Canadian gallon equals 1.2 U.S. Gallons it looks right to me.

And the Canadian fuel economy figures are based on a different driving loop. There is more to the difference than just the units used.

I think the American fuel economy figures are more representative of real-world possibilities than the Canadian, regardless of the units you want to state them in.

Re: 5.7L Fuel Economy - Canada VS US
I just put my first 850km of highway driving on my vehicle. I averaged 12.2L/100km (19.28US mpg). I haven't even broken in the engine yet, so look forward to it getting better!
