Air Conditioning Issues
Recently, I have had an issue with the air conditioning in my car that makes me think that there must be something wrong. I have a 2011 WK2 Overland, 5000 miles, so nothing should be acting up at this point.

Sometimes when I turn the car on, the air conditioning comes on full blast out of all of the vents, even when it is completely unnecessary. I always have the AC set on Auto and tuned to 68 degrees, but the car sometimes seems to not recognize this and default to full fan power. The only way I've managed to stop it is by turning the car off and on again. This usually takes care of it. However, just turning the AC off with the button on the dial and then hitting Auto again does not fix the problem.

The fact that restarting the car fixes the issue suggests to me that it is a software problem. Has anyone else had an issue, or run into anything similar?

Thanks guys.

Re: Air Conditioning Issues
Nothing here... i have noted as the weather gets hot the AC appears to be underpowered for the size of the jeep. Sometimes until i get moving, the air isn't cold, just luke warm.

There is a TSB for HVAC module (reprogramming):
