Is there anyway in the world i can connect my Ipod without going to Jeep & coughing up $1500 of selling a kidney on the black market?

1)
if you have the rear dvd option, there are phono sockets in the rear dvd console. Can buy a 2 phono to 3.5mm lead, connect that to your ipod and then from your front stereo choose AUX\DVD.

2)
If you havent got that setup you can buy one of those Belkin \ W/E brand FM Dongles, that search for a free FM band, once found it will use that band to transmit your ipod music. These devices are hit and miss, and strongly depends on your location.

I use option 1.

Not sure what system you have, but on the face of the radio there should be something that looks like a headphone jack. Go to an electronic store and you can get an aux cord that plugs right into the headphone jack on your iPod.

If you have a cassette player opening you can get a cassette transmitter device that plugs into your iPod...

You dont have to spend $1500 for a MyGiG.

You can buy a $150 head unit that is iPod compatible.

Id still have to buy a GPS system, head unit & remodel the dash. Might as well buy mygig, things are expensive here
