Re: Good selling price.

You will have to find someone who wants a lifted 2WD.... BUT you should ask around 9K. (always ask more so you may be "talked down.") That is decent milage for the year model aprox 13500/Yr. And i assumed you had no leather.

This is based off NADA.com. Im sure you wont have a problem since it has the I6!! That engine is bullet proof! :)

It's not jacked up high at all! Just big enough for 31's Most people wouldn't even notice it. It's the lift that comes with the high end GC.
yup no leather, not a big fan of cracking seats.

9K for a 2wd drive jeep, they must be worth allot in TX. whats a 4x4 overland with all the extras go for?

Re: Good selling price.

4x4 is a whole different ball game. Go to nada.com not Kbb. Kbb prices are not effected by milage and nada has been more reliable over the years.

And 9k is about what you would see a stock one in great condition at a dealership. So hopefully you're able to find someone interested in the jeep, and knows what he/she is buying. Also that price allows for wiggle room, but never sell for less than you're comfortable with.

Re: Good selling price.

Last summer I paid $10k for my 04 with 65k. It's a loaded 4.7L HO Limited with leather, heated seats, quadradrive, sunroof, basically everything but nav. That was private party...no dealer, and it was in VERY good condition.

Take that for what is worth for comparison purposes...for an extra grand here, I was able to get a 4x4 with the hard to find HO engine, with low miles in great shape.

I'd say clean it up so it looks showroom, put a very detailed listing up with lots of pics and ask $9k, but be prepared to take $7500. Gas is at $4.15 here (Ohio). I can't imagine the legendary Jeep fuel economy is going to help your cause.

Best of luck! I've used Autotrader with LOTS of success in the past...
