Programming Key FOB Drivers 1 & 2

My wife and I set our individual settings for Drivers "1 & 2" on the drivers door. My fob (1) works when I unlock the car and diverts to my settings. (Dealer must have set it up). I looked in the directions for setting RKE (which is on) to my wifes fob (#2), and it said to hit #2 and then "lock" on the fob you wish to assign. Tried it several times and no luck. :(

Any suggestions?

You need to press "s", then 1 or 2, finally press lock on the FOB.

Thanks, I'll try that tonight! ;)

Would have been nice if the directions told me that ha ha. Does it matter if you're in or out of the car, or if the door's opened or closed?

You need to be in the car with driver 2 settings in place before starting the sequence for driver 2's FOB.

Thanks again for this. Worked like a charm.

Amazing how the Owners Manual omitted pressing "s" first!! :slapfight:

One last question. Both FOB's are programmed and work perfectly when I press the "Unlock" button on the FOB. However, when you use the "keyless" way of entering the vehicle (just carrying the FOB on your person and opening the door), there seems to be a bit of a "delay" before the seat and steering wheel will move to the desired setting, and sometimes even requires closing the drivers door. Any advise on this, or do you think the car just has to "learn" this?

I don't know the answer to this since I use the ease of access option. The seat is fully back upon entry until I press the start button. At that point the seat, steering wheel, etc move to their locations for the driver.
