2005 Duplicate Key Question

Recently purchased a 2005 Jeep Cherokee - There was only 1 key with 4 button pad that was given to me. I called the Jeep dealer and they want $275.00 to duplicate the key. I called local lock smith's and they will duplicate the Key only for $100.00. They do not do the key pad programming
Is there a cheaper way to duplicate the 4 pad key ?????

Thanks .............Dan

even if you buy a blank on ebay it is still like $150+ to have it cut and programmed

yeah i had one made from walmart when my original got water damage and ended up having to goto the dealership and get one it was the same price for me as well. but id rather do it with them cuz if its not programmed right to go with your ecu everytime you unlock it the alarm will go off and if the keys isnt programmed right it wont go off even if you try to start it.

Local dealers here only will charge $40 to cut and program a key if you supply it.
