Powder coating is usually indestructible.. I have a satellite mount for a boat that was powder-coated in one area in white (hard to describe). We tried to sand blast it to repaint the whole thing... Would NOT come off and we had to settle.

I'd imagine there is different quality of powder coating process. But if you have an issue with the powder coat and its only less then 1 year I'd contact Mike, you'd be surprised he might help you out. I know most stuff has a 2 yr warranty, I assume usually for breakage however.

Anyone else having a powder coat issue on the links? Maybe it was a bad coat unfortunately?

Hey Jorde, nice work on the group buy deal. I could do that GB for a WK. my concern is with the powder coat coming off... http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php...858#post406858
Have you asked Mike about this? Was /is this happening only with custom colors or are the wrinkle black flaking off as well?

Pastel pink is a color option on bwoody site, yes. Please click on the link in the top of this thread and post your interest.. That's the official group buy thread. Thanks!

I do have an email out to him regarding this particular incident. Haven't heard back yet, I also posted in the original Wk group buy from 1.5 yrs ago to get member feedback of who else owns them and no responses yet.

I'm interested in the group buy but I've got a lifted WK and would need an extended set. Can someone suggest a way for me to measure on my current set-up so I know how much longer I need them, front and rear?

You drove 35k in one year and one week? That's more then a daily drive you live in that Jeep...
