Mygig in an 05 WK, what is needed and what works?

I have an 05 WK and would like to know more about putting a Mygig in it. I have a bunch of questions.

1. Are there adapters to make it all plug and play? Where do I find it and how much is it?

2. Navigation, does it work, and will I be able to use the current antenna in the Jeep?

3. Rear DVD, how is it affected? Can you play a DVD in the mygig and display it on both the front and rear screen at the same time?

4. Headphones, will they still work?

Basically, I am looking for a plug and play replacement of my current factory Nav unit that will work just the same, but be able to plug in an Ipod, Change Nav options while in motion, and display DVD's on the front screen.

Thanks for the help!

you need a lockpick, a LOW SPEED mygig and a new nav antenna. you will have to use a filler bezel for the nav bezel

Do they not make a lockpick for your unit now? If so you can have all those features without a new unit.

I just bought one...should be delivered on Thursday:

I elected to modify the factory bezel that is being used to fit the RER. Here's another forum that shows a job well done...it's what I'm trying to duplicate.

is the gps antenna included with the actual thing or would you have to buy that separate too?

The RER comes with the GPS antenna from OEM Parts Co.
