2010 Jeep Liberty Seafoam: The aftermath

I'm pretty shocked that there was much more smoke coming out of her than my Camaro. When I drove off, the smoke filled up my driveway.

Oh and ignore the dog crap :slapfight:

We used to use a similar product on high performance outboard engines to clear carbon deopsits etc...... LOTS of blue smoke!

But, personally, I won't use it on my road vehicles, I'm not convinced it doesn't coat the exhaust sensors with undesirable.

I need to reach 10 posts before I can contact a co-owner member.

So yeah, I used SeaFoam once on a Mustang. Didn't get any smoke. I probably messed up.

Why did I just watch 3 minutes of Marcus's Jeep smoking? :sleepy:

I "did" it would only let me go up to 2500 RPM. Hinds sight I should have slipped it into neutral then floored it

What is a little bit odd its that my Camaro NEVER smoked that much. Is the 3.7L just a dirty engine vs the LT1 of my SS? I mean really, a 15 year old car with double the miles smoked less. What the hell gives?

It's probably more efficient cat converters (hotter) burning more Seafoam off.

That is a really good point. Now I'm not as disappointed in my engine
