things come in threes...two down, what's the third?

So Saturday I go to a seminar for the day. When I park I don't pay attention and just go in. When I come out at lunch, I then see yellow road stripping paint down the length of the driver's side. Must have driven over a new road marking on the way. I was SO pissed off. Thankfully it wasn't on there good and was able to use a finger nail and some water to delicately take it off once I got home.

Then today, driving at only 30km/h near my condo, bam, double stone chip out of no where in a residential area. I didn't even have a car in front of me. Go figure where it came from. Now I need to get to a glass repair shop in the morning before work.

I'm driving this Friday to Calgary for a wedding, there better not be a third thing to come it's way.

3. You leave the sunroof open and it rains.

I feel your pain with the paint.

I had a stone hit the windshield, had to replace whole windshield. When they came to replace windshield, rear tire was flat. had to have nail taken out. I have a GC Overland, Also took jeep to get first oil change and look at why hatch button does not work on rear door. Dealer could not fix and said they would have to call Jeep. I cannot lock or unlack with rear button on rear door. But I do luv my Jeep

I did that already.... not used to having a sun roof. It did rain, luckily it was only in vented mode. :o

2800 miles... small scratch on windshield from a stone and 3 scratches in the frost leather drivers seat from forgetting to take the bypass clippers out of my back left pocket (handle down) when I went to the store to get more shrubs!

Good news is that leather is really tough. I did not cut through it.

When I had my Acura years ago, the detailing place ran my car through the wash with roof open. I have never been back...lol.

Are you sure it was a stone?

Some years ago, I was driving home on an urban interstate fairly late a night. There was a loud smack as a stone (I thought) hit my windshield making a fairly good pit and crack. I couldn't understand it because there was no other car nearby.

Two days later the local newspaper reported that a guy was arrested for shooting at cars with a .22 - right around that spot. Yeeeesh...........
