Yes, but not me personally. I've seen the charts for a 5.7 somewhere on here before...

Don't know about the Jeep, specifically, but many have dyno'ed the 5.7 Hemi's in the LX's. In stock form (2 wheel drive) they usually put out ~280-290 rwhp. I've seen slightly modified LX's (headers, intake, tuner, exhaust, etc.) put out as much as 320 rwhp. The stock LX exhaust (2.25 X 2) system (including manifolds) is quite a bit better than the WK. (2.5 X 1) See my thread on the comparison: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f67/b...-7-wk-1174042/

I haven't found a loss %age for the Jeep, but I am still looking. I did find one for a chrysler 300 4X4 (didn't say which engine though), and it lost 37% from crank to wheels. That's way more than I would have thought. Another article said, "The average rear-wheel drive street car (with between 100-200HP) will lose about 17% of the engine’s fly-wheel HP through drive-train losses." And, continued, "A reasonable estimate for a four-wheel drive car will show a loss of approximately 20-25% of its fly-wheel horsepower before reaching the drive wheels (newer four-wheel drive systems will lose less HP because of a more advanced design)."

Since the QDII system is considered to be "a more advanced design", I'd probably estimate it on the high (25%) side. That's a bunch of loss, IMO. No wonder my Hemi LX is a full second faster than the Hemi WK in the 1/4 mile.

In my awd Eclipse (10K on it) i lost about 25% vs. the claimed factory bhp, MTX tranny. On my 5.9, which had 60K on it I was 30% below factory bhp, ATX tranny. In my 92 Talon AWD the race motor was blueprinted and dynoed at 458bhp and on the dyno I pulled 352, which is what ~24% give or take, MTX tranny. Most of my Subby friends put it around 25-30% for awd depending on the tranny.
