New LED rock lights...

I have a ton of things to do on the jeep, and I finally got something done!!

I got some waterproof LED rock lights installed on the sides, I am going to add another strip by both the front and rear drive shafts.

Heres a few pics. They are RGB led's so I just wired it so all of the LED's fire at the same time to get as much light as I can. I could change it to just Red, Blue, or Green though. Just can't decide.

It's not dark in these, but you get the idea.

No it's not just taped on. This was to help the glue backing set before I put on the metal clips every 6"-8"

Thanks!

I'm going to take some better ones when It's dark.

It looks better there since the lights have a purple tint to them, and there is purple in that wall.

Usually I'm not a fan of any of this crap, keep it to the ricers imo, BUT I like it on your Jeep for some reason haha. Probably because it doesn't OVERPOWER the truck and simply accents it unlike most under-glow which is like someone stole the sun and put it under their car. Plus the purple goes nice with your blue, need some night shots?!

PLUS in this case, its probably helpful at night if you rock and something down below goes wrong, you can get under there an easily asses the situation :)

It's violet.

Would look alright if it was bright white methinks.

My buddies Suburu has OEM puddle lights. When I saw them I was "I gotta have these"

I need to figure a way to wire them to them to the timer to the inside lights so they come on every time I step out of the vehicle.

I was planning on using these from autolumination.com

Wouldn't be hard. The trigger wire is a negative wire that you could do a negative relay to.

^^ pretty much exactly what he said:) except i would tap the light to the foot well so the light only comes on when that light is on. run the wire through your firewall to a relay

I may hook mine up isolated to each door side.

That way when you open the left doors the left rail will light, and the right doors the right will light.

But I really don't know. I did just put them there for being able to see clearance.
