do it bro^^ i wanted to do it when ron first did it but i didnt really pull the trigger on it until i saw it actually installed in the blacked out housing of robs headlights.

i mean every piece of chrome is getting exiled on my jeep and i have black projectors and CF front strip. its only fitting that i hit these with black as well. the only chrome on my car will be the highbeam reflector.

What color black are the projectors? did you do them yourself?

If they are gloss, then they should be gloss. If the projectors are flat, then ... they are still sexy and leave them. Lol!

Re: Shouldve used Flat black to paint these...

my are not gloss but more like flat black satin....

but i think im ok though, i took them outside in natural light and they seem to be fine. and i also thought of them being inside the housing-kinda hindered by the lens and headlight itself so i doubt ill get any kind of glare to worry about...

at least thats what i gather up- lol

what type grit should i use here on the over-sprays? i have a selection here of grits, havent started yet.

cheers fellas

Re: Shouldve used Flat black to paint these...

cheers rob, after the cleanup i kinda dulled them down a hair--i think theyre even better now, hardly any gloss to em. not that it matters anymore.

ok i cleaned them up with some scotchbrite and hit the corners a lil bit. im not going to go crazy with the scotch on them but i used a tooth-pic on the outer rim of the LEDs on the face. i thinking im going to do the same with all the LEDs on the face just to clean it up some. but for now heres what they look like. im considering doing the same to all the LEDs after second thought.
