Buffed a little on old Blue

I felt sorry for my old ZJ this morning and busted out the pressure washer and cut the mud off of it and washed it up. Then I noticed it was scratched all to hell from all the off roading I do with it so I started the scratch removal process. Here is a few pics of the progress.

Front door before I started on it.

Look at that poor ol rear door. It was all that crappy before I started. I also sprayed undercoating on the rocker where it was mashed up and scrated so bad. And I undercoated under the fender wells. I need rock rails.

Check out the front door and rear quarter looking 1994 fresh.

Rear door and rear bumper not buffed to prove to my wife I had done something today lol

Notice the rear door has not been done. Otherwise it looks awesome lol

Just some dawn dish liquid to wash with, then buffed with a Meguiars da polisher and some #80 speed glaze from Meguiars and a soft buff cutting pad.

I didn't realize I had trashed my old Jeep so hard, because it is usually covered in mud and I just park it that way. I love to see it looking good though. It turned out pretty sweet though.

What a difference - looks great! Well, except for the gold stripes :).

You probably know, but the best solution for your rocker panels is to cut them out and replace with thick wall tubing. Looks relatively stock, very tough and doesn't mess with your ground clearance. And fixes the dents.

You need a DA polisher to get the fine scratches out of your Jeep.
