Re: Brake Job and Plugs

My budget is allowing one or the other right now. I am in need of both, but the brakes are ok for a while longer, will new plugs at 80,000 miles help my mpg?

They should. If they have never been changed before, they probably need to be! haha

You get what you pay for with spark plugs, technically the more $ the better they are.

negitive...go with stock plugs as these jeeps are extremely sensitive to what plugs they use...not something you want to find out the hard way.

80k ur gonna need some basic maintenance there

transmission pan drop with gasket change
differential fluid change
transfer case fluid change
serpentine belt change
coolant flush
brake fluid flush

all these things will help the life of your ride

Re: Brake Job and Plugs

NOT AT ALL. Idk where Jason gets his info.. My WK had a little better throttle response and seemed to run smoother after I put better plugs in. If better plugs hurt engines, they wouldnt make them, and deffinitly wouldnt be popular
