Need help NOW! In major major trouble...

Im 300 miles from home, my jeeps ****ED and im looking at over 1000$ no matter what i do to fix it or get it home. I got in it and it wouldnt start. It wouldnt turn over, wouldnt try to turn over, wouldnt even make a noise. I assume battery... jump it. NOTHING. AAA comes out, trying 10 different things, nothing. When you turn the key to start everything comes on like its gonna start but it wont. It dosnt even make noise. I make sure the key fobs were ok. I tried everything i possibly could. My options are stay here and take it to a shop and pay out the ass to have it fixed, and its gonna be a few days, i called everywhere, so im gonna have to pay for a hotel for more nights to stay till its fixed. Other option is tow it home which is looking like a better option, they say they will flat rate it for me instead of 4 miles a gallon.
HELP ME guys please for the love of god, anything is better then nothing right now. Im not happy...

Shit man...I know mine has had "gremlins" in the electrical system before (shut off on the freeway doing 80mph) so I know they can be temperamental. Do u have any aftermarket electrical? Stereo? Hids? Are the grounds good? Did u test the battery? What else did AAA do? Sorry man, hang in there

Since it is an 05 have you replaced the battery? They last about 5-6yrs then without warning it will die and it will be dead even with a jump as the battery your trying to jump it with probably doesn't have enough CCA's to turn the engine over. Plus all the electronics will not function properly with out their necessary voltage.

Find out if any of the lights come on when your turn the key to the on position or if it's completely dead. Check all fuses also.

Start with the easy stuff and go from there.

I would assume its a relay gone bad or one of major fuses.. Alternator could have gone bad also. When a alternator goes the car will still run until it drains battery completely.

Could be the starter right? Do the 4.7's have the same starter issues the 5.7's have? Right after buying mine (used) i went to start it and nothing happened, no click click or anything; so i assumed the battery and left it for the day. I get home that night and try it just for fun and it starts right up. It did this a couple times until i replaced the starter. The starter was pretty cheap at $70. The install wasnt too bad, but doing it on the road could be difficult.

Give it a shot in the morning and hopefully she'll start right up, fingers crossed for ya man! btw, where are you stranded? Maybe a friendly local WK'er is right around the corner from ya

I doubt it's going to cost you anywhere near $1000.

Calm down, get a mechanic to check it out.
