'07 Jeep SRT8 Sunroof Rattle
Hey All,

Anyone have a similar problem with the SRT8 sunroof rattling? When I have it completely slid open it rattles. if its opened halfway or vented, there is no rattle. I brought it in and they said there is nothing that can be done- which i think is BS! They said the weight of my rear dvd screen (stock) is the cause. Once again...BS. any thoughts???? Thanks!

Give it a shot. do you have the DVD player up there as well? its driving me absolutely nuts!! I just want another opinion before i go back to the dealer and tell them that they are wrong. there is NO WAY any car with a DVD and a sunroof MUST rattle.... ive had dvd and sunroof before on a dif vehicle with no rattle....

I have the DVD player and open up the sunroof all the time. No squeaks, creaks or rattles here. You have a lazy dealer, tell them to get off their butts and fix it. :D

Try tightening it up. Open your sunroof to see two screws or bolts can't remember witch been a while but they are up their on either side under the weather strip if I remember correctly and also your TV/DVD can be tightened up. Also try greasing the sunroof while your up their. Careful if you start poking around you don't get grease on your hands and get it all over the headliner.
