WK2 Wet Okole Seat Covers "Neoprene"

I installed these last week. I would do an install write up but I don't believe that anyone else has ordered these?

I live by the beach and we have a new born baby. So throw up and sand didn't mix with my cloth seats.

Yes they are safe to use with the airbags that pop out of the seats. The seat covers do not look as nice as the perforated leather that many of you have but the will definitely protect the seats from the elements.

The seat covers have an extremely snug fit. The front seats were pretty difficult to install just because they are such a tight fit. When I look at the front seats with the covers installed, they do look a bit chubby. At least the front seats. Basically what I am saying is that they do not look as slim as before.

I am not a fan of the pockets on the back of the front seats, you can order them without pockets. But the wife wanted them, and you know how that goes.

They run about 600 for the front and back. Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures. I was using my iphone. I can take some pictures with my camera if anyone would like to see better quality pictures just let me know.

Thanks for the pics. Where did you find them and what are they called? Overall are you happy with them? I thought headrests on the 11 GC aren't removable because of the head crash system involved. Did you remove the headrests to install the covers?

Here you go. Just visit the site select your vehicle.

Yes I am happy with them. This is my 3rd set. I purchased 2 sets for my 94 wrangler. On my wrangler with no top they lasted about five years. I did have a hard top on the wrangler during the winter months, and no top during the summer.

Headrests attached to the front seats are not removable. But you do not need to remove them to install the seat covers. Rear headrests are removable. I removed the rear headrests , the front slipped over them.

Juan,

Thanks for all the info... I also have a baby due very soon. I have the perforated leather though, and ventilated front seats, so I will only be getting the rear set.

Did you have to remove the back seat cushion to install the covers?

Was it difficult to install the rear seat covers?

What color did you get? I can't tell if its black or a dark blue.

Do you have a rear facing car seat in the rear? Can you access the anchors?

Do the covers appear that they will help protect the seats from the baby car seat (enough cushioning)?

I am about to pull the trigger on these, so please let me know about the above questions.

Thanks!

Nope

I'll try to post some simple instructions in a day or two if you like?

Somewhat, it took about 1 hour maybe less.

Black

Do you have a rear facing car seat in the rear? Can you access the anchors?

Yes & yes

Do the covers appear that they will help protect the seats from the baby car seat (enough cushioning)?

I haven't taken them of to check but, I don't believe that the car seat is damaging or will show any signs of a baby seat if I ever take them off.

I am about to pull the trigger on these, so please let me know about the above questions.

Thanks!

Pull the trigger on them!

My answers to your questions are above

what trim level and options do you have? looks like you have nav, leather wrapped steering wheel, etc - but cloth? I actually prefer cloth seats and would have loved to get my laredo x package with everything except leather.

was thinking about getting this done on my WK... my seats stain like it aint no thang... im glad someone else did this mod first. Any negatives to getting these types of seat covers that you've found with your prior applications?

Laredo, no nav, leather wrapped steering wheel comes on all WK2's I believe. If we lived close I would swap my cloth for your leather seats in a second. It looks good with the leather. Really wish that I had the electronic temperature gauge. Below are the options that I have.

-Trailer Tow Group
-Security & Convenience Group
-Off-Road Adventure l Package

Only negatives are that they make the seats look a bit more plump than they actually are. Besides that they are great. This is the 3rd set that I get. 2 sets on my wrangler 1 set on the new GC. The first set that I had lasted about 6 years on my wrangler. Half of the year my hard top was on and the other half it was off. So I was happy with how long they lasted. The reason that I changed them out is because they faded and ripped, as I mentioned that was after 6 years of daily use.

I had a set of Wet Okole's in my 05' Jeep Rubicon that I just traded in for my 11' Overland. Loved the Okole's, made from wet suit material.

Juan - why did you comment that you were not in favor of the pockets on the back on the front seats?

I just ordered these last week - before seeing your post. Was on the fence with this option and opted to get the pockets!
