Nav/Radio screen protector?
Anyone using one?

Or should I ask: how does the screen hold up? Audi MMI screen in my Audi has gotten some SMALL scratches on it (unnoticeable unless in heavy direct sunlight), probably from carwash guys.

That screen isnt touchscreen though ....

Mine has zero sign of wear almost a year in. I think this is the same nav, or very similar to what was in my 08 limited and that screen looked new when I sold it. I give the screen two thumbs up with regard to durability.

Re: Nav/Radio screen protector?
great to know - thanks! I don't like the idea of a protector, so i'm glad it'll hold up.

I'm sure this is the same 'hardware' from the nav/radios chrysler has been using for years. My friends 2005(?) Magnum has an almost identical head unit - obviously minor changed and major software upgrades since then.

Re: Nav/Radio screen protector?
If you really wanted to, probably just buy an iPad screen protector (or something similar) and cut it down to size.

Most are anti-glare also, might help when viewing with the sun roof open. I know on occasion, it's difficult to see in bright sunlight.
