Bonnet/Hood shocks/supports fitting

Please excuse my ignorance on this but I really don't want to break anything on my beloved WJ. So can anybody give me some pointers on how to take the old ones off and fit my new ones?. Is it easy? Do I need any special tools etc?

Just a screwdriver, as far as I remember mate.

Undo the screws and pop the strutts out

When i changed my hood props i had to slide away a metal clip and then the prop could just be taken of. Just a screwdriver was needed to slide the clip away.
Here you can see exactly how to do it:

That's what I had to do with mine. No screws involved.
