Trans and rear end question
Hey everyone i have a 2000 wj with the selct-trac with full time all wheel drive, My plans are to put a roughly 450-500 hp crate motor in it. will the trans and rear end handle it. if not wha t is the cheapest route to upgrade or replace the trans and rear end. Also any suggestion on the cheapest route to 500hp with fuel injection. I apprecite any help and coimments
Re: Trans and rear end question
Options as far as upgrades for WJs are limited to my knowledge but with enough money anything s possible. Where theres a will theres a way to an extent of course. I know the WKs have a few options but those are very pricey and time consuming options as far as labor goes. With a project like this look at going without your Jeep for more than a month and some shops will be double/triple that! Again I dont know how serious you are about this or your level of knowledge on it but that is a tall order for a very limited vehicle. Id do a lot of hw before I got into the build.
