Modern Blue Painted moldings and tinted tails

A couple people asked for pictures, so I took a couple pics (sorry that they're crappy cell phone pics). Images are kind of large, can't resize them here at work.
Anyway, I'll get more (and better) pics once my Jeep is back together.
If any of the mods/admins want to edit this post and resize the pics, go for it.

Nice.

Can I see pictures of what you did to your headlight? I need ideas for my project I'm currently working on.

Here are some better pics.....and we painted his headlights Modern Blue. The amber was tinted first and then masked where the light shines through and the rest painted modern blue.

When Dan (DCSpecial( had the lights apart, they painted the amber and only tinted the area where the light comes through.

Just a crazy thought but what if I took one of my jeepgarage.org decals, place the "jeep" vertically one of the reflectors so that it flows with it, and the painted it. Then peel the "jeep" off to have it in the amber color........Just a thought.

I'd only do it to one of the headlight just because.

Never mind.

You would have to put "Jeep" in that small rectangle for the light to shine through. Unless you mod the bezel and use a different light source.
