Shudder coming from front right???

This has happened a few times over the last 2-3 years. At first I thought it was a tire balance issue. But, now I know it's something else. It seems to happen more often now. When it happens I have to pull over and come to a complete stop, then start again. Once I do this the shudder goes away. My dealer doesn't know what is. They have offered to take it for a drive, but I've put it off, as I am fairly certain they can't replicate the problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

does it stop when you turn the wheel either way?

No, I have tried turning easy and sharp. Also, tried braking easy and hard. But, the only way it stops is to come to a complete stop.

Any chance it's after you hit a bump, like a bad strut?
Have you checked the balljoints?

No bumps. Always happens on smooth paved roads. Starts out with a slight vibration and progressively gets worst, all within seconds.

Not sure if it's a strut, as it happens on smooth surfaces and haven't checked the ball joints. Will be taking it in, to dealers, next week.

Thanks, was just wondering if maybe it was a common problem or if anyone else has witnessed this on theirs.

Thanks, I'll mention that to my dealer.
