Pano roof tip

If you have poplar trees in your area (especially female cottonwoods) as we do here in the historic and soggy Hudson Valley do the following:

Open the roof and walk in front of the vehicle. (You should only do this with the engine off and the transmission in park!) Look at the fabric wind screen. Mine was completely white from filtering the cotton like seeds out of the air. Fortunately it cleaned off easily with the dry terry cloth towel I keep next to my seat.

Thanks for the tip. In Calgary Canada we have Cotton Wood Trees which are in full bloom now. I will take the hint and check my Grand Cherokee with the Pano Roof per your instructions.

Just wanted to bring back this seasonal tip for those of you who were not with us at this time last year.

Re: Pano roof tip

The cottonfall just started here today so I kept the roof closed for just that reason. We also get tiny bugs stuck in the fabric and they don't wipe off so easily. I'm waiting for them to decompose.

It collects vegetables too? Amazing. And I thought it was for sifting insect protein only.

I found a Cessna 172 in mine. :D Also cleaned off with a dry towel.
