Sub woofer mounting problem?

Problem:
You've got a sub box but dont like it sliding around and dont want to permanently mount it in case you need to pull it out for any reason.

Dont worry! Ole Remmy has a solution for you!

Solution:

And I can still access the jacks/storage compartment under it. :)

that is way more visually pleasing than the chain link I have holding my 12" in place! I suppose I should look around to see where the gas tank is before I drill anything lol

Gas tank is on the driver side under the back seat.

I had an idea of just using a half bar saddle(http://tinyurl.com/3w3k26s) and
mounting it on the back of the box and it just slides into these: http://img857.imageshack.us/img857/6443/jeeeep.th.png]

You can make it so that it sits flat while resting on one of those cut outs so it wouldn't roll anywhere.

But I also like your idea too!

Thanks! Yea, I was worried that it wouldnt really cut it and that I would need another one. But it holds it down pretty good. I mean, if somebody decided to steal it a few tugs from being in a hurry would do it. But my driving doesnt move it at all.

But for those of you who have a bigger box and heavier subs (I have a 12" Type R in a .75 box) I would go for more.

That a good idea. I was trying to do something similar but found it a giant pita to hook it onto those things. You also cant fold down the seats if you need to get behind it. Thats when the gate latch idea came up.
