Rear Fog Lights

I was looking to install rear fog lights but I couldn't tell if I had the rear setup already. I've heard that you need to buy the harness, but I've searched around to see where I could find it, but I haven't seen any.
Where can I pick the harness up from without spending alot at the dealer? Is there any real difference between the dealer and picking up a universal wiring kit?

Thanks.

Re: Raer Fog Lights

do you have the rear srt8 bumper and do you mean the lights in that bumper? or do you mean a regular set of foglights

No, I don't have the srt bumper but I was looking at my alternatives. Either I can get the srt rear and lights, or buy another manufacturer's OEM lights (a more affordable pair) and mold them into my present bumper. I've got a buddy who can do the body work so I was really just looking at the harness issue. I figured I could just get some wiring and hook them up.
The reason I want to do this is because I'm moving overseas, and I need to add front fender turn signals and rear fog lights. The last time I was there I let them do the conversion and they jacked up my previous vehicle's wiring. I know it'll be a little work, but I want to make it as clean of a look as possible.

it would be alot of work to get the lights in your bumper. then you would need to buy a harness to power them since they are not powered in the united states. if you are moving to a country where the WH is sold then you can just buy a bumper there.

Assuming your buddy is a pro in the bodyshop? Like this dude better be pretty good if he's gonna custom mount a set of fogs in the bumper haha. I mean anything is possible but hacking factory bumpers for fogs just never made sense to me. The ROI isnt much and the risk is relatively high so Id say its a no go BUT if you like they say, no risk no reward. Wiring is the cake part, no issue at all, tons of places to steal power for the. Even a trailer harness can work with a lips harness for full functions, lots of options in that respect :) Go for it and let us know how goes!

he would also have to fill in the gap in the rear of the stock bumper to make it smooth like a WH bumper or the lights would look real dumb.

I know it'll take some work but I think he can get it done. Thanks for the pics and thread link, that's what I was looking for.
