Champion platinum spark plugs 3318
 
Champion platinum spark plugs 3318 is what pep boys has listed as the plugs for my jeep. They had oem and these which were 50 cents more. Will I have any issues ?

copper core only, you will have issues with other plugs in the 4.7

Ok everything went smoothly. The truck runs great. But now my check engine light is on. What could it be ?

its your intake air temperature sensor that you forgot to plug back in ;) not that I or all the other guys I work with have done that before!

do your key dance and pull the code and we can go from there.

Or go to AutoZone who doesnt charge and have them pull the code

Lol that is exactly what I did. I for got to plug the intake sensor back in.i did the key dance and the codes it gave me were P0582 and p0113.

I've read this a few times before , I changed mine at 60k with the Platinum with no problems at all, good increase in mileage and power. I have an 05 with 8 plugs so maby it's has something to do with that.

I have noticed the increase in power. But not milage yet.

The ONLY "increase in power" (or "increase in mileage") would come from comparing the old worn plugs to brand new plugs.
