Um, how old are you? Did you ever watch Night Rider? If you watched Night Rider when you were a kid I think you would have a different opinion of that music.

The first video was horrendous. Who are those guys, like they can stand next ton one but they cant get in it and drive it for us? What's the point man. Enough with this waiting bs, I want to see this damn thing in action! Its only hurting sales the longer they "hold out" Imagine if they pushed it hard in the media and had tons of driving videos and stuff like that! IT would go viral instantly and the sales for this thing would probably increase insanely, wouldn't hesitate to say 25% just from better internet marketing! But time will tell, so far I dont know who would be interested, havent seen the thing do the main thing it was built to do: PERFORM!

They're not really "holding out", technically the 2012 model year launch does not start until September 1st. Jeep doesn't really need to heavily promote the SRT8 this early on, to do so could create more demand than production allows for, and therefore disappoint customers.

This is a new model which means production will ramp up slowly. Barring any major negative changes in the economy or fuel prices I believe that the new SRT is going to remain in very tight supply for most of the 2012 model year.

Good point. I guess production is limited. I was just thinking/typing form a general business standpoint in order to ramp up sales. But as you mentioned this is a limited model. What are they shooting for 3k per year on average or will 2012 be less and they build up to that? Is this a 5 year run shooting for 10k units or so produced? Just curious on the production plan. I know they don't really even need to market too much for the SRt8 as the guys who know, know and they never seem to had an issue selling a performance SUV in the past :)
