I had this problem in mine when I got it. The dealer replaced the temperture control panel in mine I beleive. It was annoying haing to turn the dome lights on every time I needed to adjust the temp and night!

Same here, I will be sending mine to LXHarness ones he gets the LED's in. I wanted white so he had to order them, Should look nice and will be nice having lights again! I haven't been lit for almost 2 years!

Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep all have issues with the A/C cluster and radio lights burning out. i had the A/C cluster go out on my 06 Charger under warranty but half of my radio went out after the warranty so i fixed it with LEDs

Re: ac control lights

When i first got sick of the problem, I tore the jeep open and got the climate control unit out and then tore it apart. I accidentally... Pulled 2 of the non-working lights off thinking they would be PnP lights i could buy at radio shack.... (wrong) Then I called my local stealership only to find out, "Errr, sir... Those are non-serviceable lights and you're not supposed to open that unit."

I've tried buying used units off junked WKs and FAIL. This company kept sending me new units until they worked. All three climate controls had either all lights out or 2/3.

Go with the LEDs..... :)

maybe ALL modern ones have these issues....i have a 98 XJ since day 1 of its life. I can tell you every bulb, every function of ervery electrical item inside the jeep is exactly as it was in June 1998 when i bought it.

yet my 07 WK cant go 3 years without bulbs burning out.

yeah i mean modern. my 96 cherokee had no issues with any lighting but my charger has had lots of issues with bulbs. tore out the stock bulbs and replaced with 3mm LEDs. takes a little time but not too bad to do.

Im sending mine to LX harness. You ship him your un-lightable climate control, and he replaces light with LEDs for $55, includes shipping back to you. the other buttons are cheaper and have different prices. VERY reasonable considering I have no idea how to solder, lol.

Re: ac control lights

man that is a good price. good to see someone that knows how to fix is doing it at a fair price
