switched power in the trunk

how much power is running to the trunk? is tapping into the 12v outlet the best bet?

Re: switched power in the trunk

What are you looking to power? Easiest option likely is direct fused line to battery under passenger seat if you are looking to mount a semi-permanent device such as an amp/other audio/video monitor. The 12V socket in the trunk is otherwise fine for as needed compressors and whatnot.

battery is under the seat? shows how much i know about this thing.

thats actually extremely convenient, as to not need to pass thru the firewall.

has anyone done any aftermarket wiring?

I've run a 4 ga for my amp under the seat. Pretty simple run.
