4300K 5202 HIDs in fogs poll

Do these lights make me "one of those guys" recklessly blinding other drivers on the road? 4300k is a great match to the stock HIDs but they have a high and wide radius. Notice the van on the left in the two picks.

Hard to tell, but it looks like the driver's side may be casting a bit high and left. Maybe you can adjust the mount a hair down and right? How do they look in driving snow or thick fog - any reflection or penetrating low thrrough the soup?

Otherwise IMO they look tremendous. You can always just use them in poor weather if you think they are a bit mutch for oncoming drivers. Would be interested in which kit you used and the install effort. Thsnks LO.

I would say - yes, slightly bright - if being used as fogs or headlights.

Not too bright if being used to illuminate super-dark roads.

I just ordered a set of projectors for HID fog lights because I really hate the beam pattern of the halogen fogs when retrofitted. The projectors also has an internal cutoff line to keep the beam from going to high (unlike the pics I've seen of the halogens that have overflow 5 feet above the headlights).

I should have them installed by next week, just waiting on my new bumper and grill to be painted (deer incident).

Here are the projectors I plan on using to replace the fogs. The have a hard cut off and a good beam patterns. Should be installed this weekend with the rest of the front end after hitting a deer a few weeks back.

The kit with the relay/ projector/ hid balast and bulbs was about $115 shipped after coupon. The projectors are about an inch smaller then the fog lamp current in the bumper so I had to make adapter plates for them.

Can you provide more information on the product you used and pictures of the final install.

Thanks much.

You're bringing up an old thread so here's a thread that will help. I used the same kit with no issues. http://www.jeepgarage.org/showthread...light=hid+fogs

Where did you get the projectors from? They don't look like the popular Blazers...

I'm not sure who/what your question is directed. If you mean the kit on the thread I included, it's from Xenondepot. They're a vendor here. The kit contain replacement bulbs with hardware not projectors like the oem headlights.

Thanks...I was referring to the projectors shown above. I'm not interested in putting HIDs in the OEM halogen housings.
