Dual Center Exit

So who is working on this kit? I want one when my new baby gets delivered.

I think it will be easy for any good exhaust shop

Re: Dual Center Exit

They would be smart to start selling a center exhaust kit for it, from the complaints of other members. Obviously they need to get one in the shop first.
I think SRT does a great job on their exhaust systems though. For their price, and what you gain even on the Wk1, I have yet to see the full "VALUE" on an GCSRT8.
Now, when you talk other F/I guys or spraying or other signifigant air flow changer, than the values are gained. However, since tuning and most mods won't be out for quite a long time....
So I ask the OP...Why even change it before you even hear it, Just for looks?

^^ I would do it for looks too. Isn't that the point? I dont think it's going to make a difference in sound having them centered or separated like they are. I'm sure both will sound great if done correct.

Doing the exhaust will be a piece of cake, it's the lower valance that will be the costly and time consuming part to design.

From what I've seen Mopar exhaust = Corsa exhaust, maybe they are working on something. It would take someone with a factory connection to get access to a vehicle for development so that leaves most, if not all of the aftermarket out in the cold.

Re: Dual Center Exit

I dont see a need for a lower valance redesign....that would require an entire rear bumper redesign as they are NOT separate. Couldnt we just remove the center portion that is currently used for the tow package?

Sure, but they you have the 2 vacant holes from the old pipes. Since this is for looks and looks alone doing it half ass'd would just look, well, half ass'd.....
