I'd love to retrofit them on my Overland......but I can imagine the cost.

Due to new front suspension design, the new Brembos will not fit the WK platform.

I have the same Brembo calipers on my FPV GT-E (au performance sedan). They stop well and do not fade after a serious track session. If they are using Brembo rotors, they will need replacign every 15k miles as they are really soft and are lucky to last a single pad change. My car is about 800lb lighter than a SRT8 and it did a set of pads in 15k miles and the rotors were just in spec.

What are the costs to replace these brembo pads and rotors, i wonder?

I know they say, "if you have to ask, don't buy the car." But, I still want to know what I'm getting into though.

if you buy the brembo replacements from the dealer...they are stupid $$$$. But the aftermarket will be much, much cheaper. I have seen aftermarket complete sets of rotors/pads go anywhere from $250 to $800 for the wk1 srt. I dont expect these to be much more.
