My new toy...that I've had for over 6months

While I was deployed, I took the opportunity to purchase another motorcycle. My previous one was traded in with my 99 Camaro SS for my then 06 Jeep SRT-8 (which in turn, was traded in for my 07 Jeep SRT-8, haha). I have always bought myself a gift during/after each deployment. It's something I have done since my first one (this one was my 4th). So without further adoo, here is my 2004 ZX-10R:

Here is the one I traded in:

Enjoy! Oh, and yes the modding has begun. So far what is on it: plate relocator, fender eliminator, integrated smoked LED tail/turn, smoked front flushmounts, blue windscreen (soon to get replaced by a GP), ASV black shorty levers w/ gold adjusters, and an Ivan's exhaust valve delete. Got a few more parts on order, too :D 6000K HIDs, Muzzy CF S/O, blue chrome wheel stripes, Rifleman's 1/5, and front calipers from a donor 07 ZX-6R (better calipers than the 2004 ZX-10R's). In the works will be frame sliders, swing arm spools, GP windscreen, a better LED tail, undertail kit, PC III, +3 in the rear, X-ring 525 chain, and a damper. (i think that about covers my intial basics, lol!!)

Forgot to add that I just put on new Dunlop Q2s! I could not be happier with how they perform! Very impressed. They make my big body 10 wanna just roll over and the dual compound is a good piece of mind for me!

Awesome! and like others have said thank you for your service!

I see you have experience but it can never be said enough, be safe... a guy on another forum got his motorcycle endorsement and 2 DAYS later is paralyzed from the mid chest down after being whipped off the bike in a corner and thrown into a guardrail. A husband and father of 2.

That said, enjoy the spoils of your hard, hot, life threatening work!

^-- Yeah I heard about that as well. Very sad day!! Especially considering how many people get on bikes for the enjoyment of two wheel freedom and someone else ruins it for them (the Arizona garbage truck incident rings heavily in my mind constantly!!). I do everything I can to be safe but you never know whn it's your time...

Irf, somehow I've learned to control it  and Brad, thank you for seeing it my way (about needing toys  )
