Transmission Running Temp?

So on my home today I was going through the Vehicle information, Now I was already driving for about 5 miles between 50-70mph but I noticed my Transmission temp at 170 Degrees, then when I parked in my driveway and sat there for 2 min it was at 210 Degrees. Is this normal operating temps? It was only 70 degrees outside!

Re: Transmission Running Temp?

Software glitch. When in park the transmission temp = coolant temp. Put it in gear and it'll drop down to the actual transmission temp.
