Spray on Bedliner?

So for a few weeks now the rust on the underside of my 05' WK has been bothering me. What I wanna do is get a few cans of that spray on bed liner, and after going under and cleaning it up, I wanna spray the entire underbody with bed liner, I think that would be a great way to help the underside stand up to the weather, and it would rinse off nicely during car washes. I also wanted to take the wheels off of it and clean up and spray the wheel wells also.
I wanna do all this but something is also telling me not to, so I am not sure what to do, if I do it what needs to be covered or taped off? Is this a bad idea or a good one? Thanks guys!

I was going to do my step pad and the black pieces under the doors. I then thought I might as well buy a bunch of it and do the underside too. So I'm curious too, if someone can chime in on this. Thanks

I think it would be a great mod to help with rusting.

Yea I do quite a bit of off roading and now on the beach, so I was thinking it would help for rusting. It seems like all the mud and salt just holds onto the paint under there.

I kinda think that anything that would be affected by it and need to be covered up would just break lose under normal use after the spray. But thats just me id like to hear from someone who knows more. Plus it would be sooooo easy to rinse off and clean the underside

This is actually on my list of things to do. I was going to purchase some rust converter and bed-liner. My steps to do would be wire-brush the heavy stuff if any, rust converter, bed-liner. My friend did this on a 1972 Jeep J-2005 looks very nice.

So is the idea that there is nothing under their that will be harmed by the liner?

They make undercoating spray, why not use it?
