Mopars pullin' Mopars

Check it out. Made a 5 hour trip home in tow/haul mode on Saturday with my latest project. Its a 1970 Charger 500 with a 440 4 barrel.

The GenII 4.7 performed flawlessly! i maintained 60 mph the whole way. At one point a semi jumped right on my ass and I had to stomp on it. You wouldnt have even known I had the 4,000 lbs on the back. Breaking left just a little to be desired. I could have used the Brembo's you SRT guys are running.

This justifies parking in the truck lane, right?

Nice Charger bro, fastbacks are sweet and anything Mopar in the late 60s early 70s is obviously badass :)

What are the plans is what I want to know? Refurb that 440 or an entire frame off resto? Make a thread for us, we love us some muscle car build threads or any car for that matter!

Immediate plans are to pull the motor and rebuild it. Porbably convert to a 440-6pack set-up. While I am working on the motor, I will send it out for body work, paint, and vinyl top. Then drop the rebuilt motot back in and raise some hell.

i am still not decided on color. I think I want to do a Mopar high impact like Plum Crazy, but I cant get past the idea of black on black.

OHHH Yesss, Plum Crazy is sweet! Any of the high impacts are dope, but that purple is insane! I think your plan sounds sick and thats the right way to do it man. That six pack was and is so badass! You'll def have to keep us posted on here :)

Sick charger you have there !!

And I confirm, my boat with the trailer is approx 5200 lbs and I do not feel the trailer that much ! I have hydrolic brakes on the trailer but still, the engine doesnt even seem to find it a little hard

Very Nice! You already have the high impact color on yours. Looks like sublime green.

How do your springs hold up to that? I have Eibach's that I havent installed yet.
