problems with front bwoody sway links

2 Attachment(s)
anyone who installed the front bwoody sway links noticed that the offset isn't right? the links are cocked at an angle instead of being straight vertically. this angle is deforming the upper bushings of the sway links and causing clunking sounds after a few months of installing new upper sway link bushings when we have damp weather. i used to have the addco front sway and figured maybe the addco bar wasn't made to the right spec and thats why the bwoody links looked angled...so i bought the jeep srt front sway bar and the links still don't fit right. can anyone who installed bwoody front links on a wk confirm this? here are the pics.

from comparing with my pics, it looks like your sway bar is installed incorrectly. looks like it is upside down.

i did add larger washers on the bolt head side of mine.

are you tightening them with the suspension loaded or drooped?

i'll recheck. but if the bar was upside down i wouldn't be able to line up the bushings and oem bracket for the sway bar right? and the bar would be the same width regardless...i think. i'll check that tomorrow too.

no, it would still line up. the ends on yours are pointing up, while the ends on mine are pointing down. it is jjsut the way the ends are positioned. but the only way to fix it would be to remove the bar and turn it around.

i flipped the bar and both sway links don't sit level top to bottom...the top of the sway links are towed in. my bwoody look the same as urs. can you check under the car with the suspension under load to see if your top part of the links are towed in or straight up and down when compared to the bottom bolt?
thanks
