470 ohm Resistor No Longer Needed to Eliminate The Glow

I know AL had them but now V-LEDS have the CANBUS proof bulb that will eliminate the glow that is given when all the dome lights are replaced with LEDs. I'd rather buy from V-LEDS.

And just when I was about to solder in a resistor.

Now they need them in blue.

That's 168 above. Just plug them in under the dash in the foot wells.

so EVERY BULB NEEEDS TO BE THIS KIND?

a resistor costs like 10 cents??????

No. Everyone does not need this. Just 1.

ok just asking: you have these in which sockets and which ones dont have the glow. i ask as far as i understand there are 2 circuits in the interior////

Re: 470 ohm Resistor No Longer Needed to Eliminate The Glow

I haven't ordered them yet.

What I do know is that in my 05 WK, I left a halogen in the lift gate. When I first noticed the glow before I knew about it, I had all LEDs in but when I pulled one for the front map lights and replaced with a halogen and that eliminated the glow.

What I'm saying is that it seems as if in my 05 WK all the lights are on the same circuit.

good info, thanks lll2for3lll

I'm very interested in this too!

I was hoping to see more than just "white", but I guess not?

ill defer any thanks until we KNOW it works. just cause it says it does something doesnt mean it solves our problems.

so suzie, please report back too

The bulbs over at AL work so I don't see why these wouldn't. Same bulbs.

The resistor is built into the bulb so why wouldn't it work? :)

There is no reason these shouldn't work. But on a side note, I don't have a glow problem in my 08 and all the bulbs are changed. In my 02, however, I had to fix it because it was really bright in the backseat.
