INSTALLED! New Switches (PICS)

So iv been searching for a while now for a place to place two switches, I finally found a switch panel that would allow me to put them in the little cubby next to the shifter. So the project began...... I started off with this, the switches mounted and all the connections soldered and heat shrunk ready to go.

So I went out at midnight tonight and took apart the dash, the radio bezel, the HVAC bezel and the shift bezel. I checked under the cubby and there was nothing to damage by cutting so I started the hole, it was a HUGE pain but I finally got it, I fed all the wiring through and guided it to where I need it. Because of the location of the panel I couldn't, and didnt want to drive screws into it, so I used an epoxy to mount the panel, so far its super soild and its only been an hour. Heres the switches just mounted and everything still a mess.

And the view of everything before I put it back together...

So I put everything back together, and pulled the wiring through to where it needs to be when I go out in the morning to wire it up, to tired tonight! Here are the finished pics, I cut the little rubber mat to fit perfect around the hole, you can still see the connections if your down low, but you gotta get low to see anything.

Having a lot of keys on your key ring will kill your ignition switch.

Thanks guys ;) I like it a lot, I wired the bottom one to my radar detector so I can turn it off easy in town when I don't need it

I need a way to mount it that's more solid, I can't run a screw into it because the base of the switches are two wide, any ideas?

Don't know if you saw my previous post but if you keys heavy, you take life away from your ignition switch. And the ignition switches on these WK's do go bad.

Yea bro I saw it, mines already starting to go but my keys are not that heavy its onlya few keys. Any ideas how to attach that besides a screw?

Lol. You're WK looks as dirty as mine did when I had my 95 pound Pit Bull.

That is a great place for switches. Mopar make a mood lighting system. That would be a good place for the dimmer.

Re: INSTALLED! New Switches (PICS)

Ok so this morning I came up with a more secure mount. I was able to take the switches out of the plate with enough room to squeeze them back in the bottom with it staying mounted at the right height. So i screwed the panel on and re mounted the switches. Much more solid!
