HELP: Plastic stuck in brake
I must've driven over a plastic bag or something because i got out to look at my brakes and there is a plastic bag stuck between my left rear brake and the rotor?...

Is there any way for me to get it out? Can't pull it out with my some out with pliers.

Is it safe to drive like that? and will the plastic eventually just burn off or something?

Re: HELP: Plastic stuck in brake
take your wheel off and get it out. you may need to clean your pads off

Re: HELP: Plastic stuck in brake
may burn off EVENTUALLY but in the mean time, if thats on the braking surface, thats a no no. id definitely clean/lightly sand those pads to make sure youre not stopping using a plastic coated brake pad.

Re: HELP: Plastic stuck in brake
Yeah if you are really worried, like mentioned, just pull wheel and caliper off and take bag off an then you'll be a-ok. Few hard stops and anything in there will be burned off and the pad will have a fresh clean surface to bite the rotor with. I wouldn't worry about it really, odd how it got in there though??? very unlikely situation but ehh nothing surprise me anymore haha

Re: HELP: Plastic stuck in brake
Remove the tire and caliper and clean it all. You do NOT want any debris in your brakes.
